SANDPOINT, Idaho and BEIJING – March 11, 2016 – Kochava (, the mobile attribution, analytics and optimization company, and TalkingData (, China’s largest independent Big Data service platform, today announced a strategic partnership giving TalkingData’s 80,000 customers instant access to the Kochava global footprint of more than 2,000 networks and publishers, for easy expansion to the international market.

Today, 80% of the Top 50 developers in China rely on TalkingData to track their app metrics, analyze user data points, and improve monetization. Through this exclusive partnership TalkingData customers now have full access to real-time, fully configurable attribution services. This solution provides TalkingData customers a truly seamless global distribution path for their apps, with access to the largest global media pool of more than 2,000 sources, removing the barriers for Chinese developers wanting to expand internationally and buy media overseas.

“TalkingData has earned its reputation as the highest-quality mobile platform in China, and because of its excellent reputation and commitment to innovation 80% of Chinese app developers are already working with the company, giving TalkingData the largest user base in all of China,” said Charles Manning, Kochava CEO. “This partnership marries the best of the Chinese market with Kochava’s world class global integrations and superior attribution technology to deliver an unprecedented turn-key path for Chinese developers to expand into the US and globally, unlocking tremendous new revenue opportunities. Kochava expects this will be the first step of many paths to cooperation with TalkingData in the effort to help brands transcend international borders leveraging the best tools and services available.”

Kochava also brings new capabilities for advanced measurement and optimization to TalkingData customers, including the ability to analyze and increase user lifetime value (LTV) by attribution source outside of China. Kochava Analytics serves to improve the efficiency of ad spend with features like fraud detection, Traffic Verifier and Media Guide.

TalkingData’s advanced data statistics and analytic software reach over 650 million monthly active users in China, providing the most data-rich, reliable and profound market reports from benchmark KPIs, to user behavior studies, to industry movements, trends, and forecasts. The company already engages in close collaboration with 90% of the Top 10 mobile app stores and the top 10 ad networks in China.

“The more than 80,000 developers who are already working with TalkingData now have a simple and pain-free way to expand their campaigns globally without having to broker any new partnerships or contracts, and without having to hire a new BI person to guide the process,” said Leo Cui, CEO and Cofounder of TalkingData. “By partnering with Kochava, we’ve made global app distribution truly seamless for TalkingData customers, unleashing a wealth of new revenue opportunities for Chinese developers.”

“There has been a lot of talk, especially in the mobile and gaming industries, about Eastern-based companies expanding westward,” notes Manning. “In February, we saw a consortium of Chinese companies make a $1.2BN offer for Opera Software, and we expect this trend to really take off in the second half of this year. The strategic partnership between Kochava and TalkingData is the first meaningful formal cooperation really enabling instant massive expansion for Chinese companies into the US and global markets. This partnership essentially provides a turn-key, easy pathway for Chinese app developers, along with a playbook for optimized international expansion.”
