Connect and Measure Your ChatGPT Ads

Conversational AI is quickly becoming a core discovery surface, and advertisers are testing and scaling spend accordingly. Kochava’s integration with ChatGPT Ads went live in Q3. We’re excited to partner with OpenAI and help advertisers measure the efficacy of their ChatGPT Ad spend on real business outcomes.

For app marketers using Kochava as their mobile measurement partner, the integration connects ChatGPT Ads to downstream conversions such as installs, registrations, in-app purchases, free trial starts, and paid subscriptions. Marketers driving traffic to web properties can measure actions with the Kochava Web SDK and conversion pixel tracking. Kochava supports ChatGPT Ads across mobile and web with three dedicated partner integrations: iOS, Android, and web.

Last-touch attribution is only part of the picture. Conversational AI often sparks early intent and discovery that last-touch models can overlook. Advertisers can pair last-touch results with marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing through Always-On Incremental Measurement (AIM) to evaluate the true incremental lift of ChatGPT Ads alongside the rest of their media mix.

Upgrade Now: Kochava SDK Major Version Release

New major versions of the Kochava SDK are available: iOS SDK v11.0.0 and Android SDK v7.0.0. We recommend prioritizing this upgrade with your app development team, as it delivers two significant benefits.

Enhanced Deep Link Attribution for Reengagement

If your app already has Enhanced Deep Linking integrated, the SDK now automatically captures the full deep link URL and the click identifiers it carries, such as Google’s GCLID and GBRAID, Meta’s campaign_ids, and Snap identifiers, with no manual coding. This means more consistent reengagement attribution across major ad platforms and one less line of instrumentation that can quietly get dropped during an app update.

Expanded Dual-Stack IP Support

The SDK can collect both IPv6 and IPv4 addresses when available. Some publisher platforms still pass only one IP address family, so this update improves attribution when ad engagement and conversion arrive over different IP families. It’s especially valuable for cross-device and household-level attribution, including CTV.

Loop in your developers now so the upgrade can be scoped into an upcoming sprint. Developers need to remove any previous manual deep link event instrumentation to avoid duplicate events.

Technical release notes are also available in the Android SDK v7.0.0 and iOS SDK v11.0.0 documentation.

Still using a server-to-server (S2S) integration?

Manage Meta Campaigns With the Ads MCP Server in StationOne

The Media Buying Workspace for Meta is live in StationOne, Kochava’s AI harness purpose-built for advertising. Built on the Ads MCP server from Meta, it lets app marketers monitor, model, and manage Facebook and Instagram campaigns in plain language, without needing to learn Ads Manager.

The workspace ships with out-of-the-box assistants, agents, and skills that fast-track agentic workflows including campaign monitoring, ad fatigue detection, campaign creation, and audience building. Recommendations are fully grounded in your Kochava attribution data, so top performer reflects customers with real lifetime value according to your single source of truth rather than platform-reported metrics alone. Everything is advisory by default and configurable to act, with human confirmation gates in front of any write/edit actions.

Kochava for Advertisers MCP Available on GitHub

Kochava also made its own Model Context Protocol server publicly available. The Kochava for Advertisers MCP brings attribution, analytics, reporting, and campaign management into your favorite AI tools, chat assistants, agentic workflows, and custom-built agents.

Marketers can query live omnichannel attribution data across their integrated app portfolio, then take direct action to create campaigns, configure trackers, and manage attribution settings, all through headless read and write tools with no need to open the Kochava UI. New to Kochava? The MCP server even supports agentic sign-up for Free App Analytics, so you can create an account without leaving your AI conversation.

The Kochava for Advertisers MCP and Kochava Skills are also available in TikTok’s Agentic Hub, and you can read more about TikTok’s vision for agentic advertising in this Adweek feature.

Take Agentic Advertising Further With StationOne

The Kochava for Advertisers MCP works with the AI tools you already use. But to put your Kochava MMP data to work in agentic advertising workflows and conversational campaign management across your full media mix, the best experience is StationOne, the AI harness purpose-built for agentic advertising.

Unlike plugging an MCP into a general-purpose AI platform, StationOne comes with the advertising context built in. Your attribution data, ad platform connectors, and ready-made agents, skills, and assistants work together in one governed AI platform, giving you continuity and scale as you move from simple questions to automated workflows.

Jev Use Cases for Marketers Inside StationOne

StationOne now supports Jev, a new kind of AI model from TypeSafe AI. In case you haven’t heard of it yet, here’s a quick introduction.

What is a System One model? The AI models most of us use every day, like ChatGPT and Claude, are general-purpose chat models. They read a prompt and write out an answer one word at a time. This flexibility is powerful but can be slow and costly when you need the same simple judgment call made thousands of times. System One models are built for fast, repetitive decisions. Think of them as a quick, reliable gut check rather than a long essay.

What is Jev? Jev is TypeSafe AI’s first System One model. Rather than writing prose, Jev reads the state of your data and responds with structured decisions, each paired with a confidence score: choosing from set options, scoring against a rubric, or estimating the probability that a statement is true. Since answers come back in a fixed format, software systems can use them directly. According to TypeSafe, this makes Jev dramatically faster and more efficient per decision than a general-purpose language model.

Agents, assistants, and playbooks in StationOne can now call Jev natively.

The payoff for app marketers is efficiency. High-volume judgment calls run on a purpose-built model instead of a frontier LLM, so you can work across your Kochava data and your ad platform and partner data without burning through tokens.

Here are three ways app marketers can put Jev to work:

  1. Campaign and creative triage: Score every campaign, ad set, or creative against your own rubric using Kochava attribution and ad platform data, then sort into scale, hold, or pause, with a confidence score on each call.
  2. Traffic source quality scoring: Rate partners, publishers, and placements as keep, review, or cut by weighing retention, LTV, and fraud signals together.
  3. Taxonomy cleanup at scale: Classify and normalize messy campaign, partner, and creative naming across networks so your reporting rolls up cleanly.

Low-confidence results can be routed to a human or a general-purpose model for a closer look, so you get speed on the clear-cut calls and judgment where it counts.

Ready to dive in?

Connect your Kochava data and ad platform connectors in StationOne, then ask your agents and assistants to put Jev to work on your highest-volume decisions.

Kochava Cost Data Recovery Plugs Holes in Your Ad Spend Data

An expired credential, a departed team member’s API key, or a change on an ad network’s API can all leave a gap in your cost data. Recovering the data used to require a support ticket. Now it’s self-serve.

New enhancements to Kochava Cost enable you to backfill missing cost data yourself, right from the Cost Configuration page, back to each network’s API retention limit (up to one year). Improved credential alerting and partner change monitoring help you catch issues sooner, and every recovery is logged in a complete audit trail. Recovery runs in the background without interrupting your daily cost syncs, and complete spend history also gives your marketing mix models a stronger foundation.

Explore the full details in our dedicated blog post: Kochava Cost Data Recovery Plugs Holes in Your Ad Spend Data.

Generic link previews vs. rich link previewsRich Link Previews for Kochava SmartLinks

Kochava SmartLinks now support Open Graph metadata, so links you share over SMS, iMessage, and social platforms can render as fully branded preview cards with a custom title, description, and image rather than a plain URL or generic thumbnail. Branded previews build trust and visibility, which can translate into up to 30% higher click-through rates.

Previews can be set as a default for an entire App Group and overridden for individual SmartLinks. Setup happens in the Kochava console, with no SDK updates or manual coding required.

Explore the full details in our dedicated blog post: Configure Rich Link Previews for Higher SmartLinks Conversion Rates.

More Flexibility for Your Meta AMM Data

Kochava continues to build on Meta’s Advanced Mobile Measurement (AMM) program, giving app marketers unparalleled flexibility (compared to other measurement partners) in how they engage and activate Facebook and Instagram performance data. Latest enhancements span reporting and custom postbacks:

  • Kochava Query: Expanded granularity and custom reporting options for your Meta performance data
  • Custom advertiser postbacks: More granular data and flexible configuration within postbacks

To learn more about these enhancements, reach out to your Client Success Manager. For more details about Meta AMM, see our related blog post: Kochava Supports Meta’s Re-Enabled Advanced Mobile Measurement Reporting.

Apple Ads SKAN Advertiser Postback Support

Kochava has added advertiser postback support for Apple Ads within SKAN reporting. Advertisers can now see their Apple Ads conversion data in the SKAN reporting layer alongside Apple Ads deterministic attribution data.

The result is access to your own copy of SKAN conversion signals directly within Kochava reporting, giving you a more complete view of Apple Ads performance alongside other SKAN-enabled media partners.
